Transportation Insight Introduces Insight Fusion™
NASHVILLE, TENN. (June 7, 2013) — Nationally-recognized third-party logistics (3PL) provider Transportation Insight introduces Insight Fusion™, a proprietary interactive business intelligence portal, to the medical and dental supply industries at the NDC International Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee from June 10-12.
Insight Fusion delivers critical supply chain data on demand to manufacturers, distributors and retailers at any location with Internet access, enabling users to make accurate, timely and data-driven business decisions to achieve cost savings, reduce cycle times and improve customer satisfaction. The business insight tool provides interactive supply chain analytics, relevant industry-specific news and many other pertinent communications through an intuitive web-based interface.
Insight Fusion was developed under the leadership of Transportation Insight VP of Information Technology Jim Taylor, a leading innovator in the development of interactive supply chain business intelligence (BI) tools. With over 20 years executive experience in designing and managing technology solutions in the logistics industry, Taylor will co-present with NDC on supply chain metrics during an educational session. Taylor will also address Big Data, predictive analytics and the future of supply chain data science.
“Insight Fusion allows companies at any time to see all their supply chain metrics, analyze their key performance indicators (KPIs) through multiple filters and drill into the numbers,” says Taylor. “At the touch of the screen on any mobile device, clients can view their data and make complex business decisions. Insight Fusion employs responsive design, with a minimum of resizing, scrolling and panning on devices ranging from desktop computers to tablets and smartphones.”
Transportation Insight’s Founder and Chairman Paul Thompson says the lead logistics provider has invested tremendous resources in building this next generation platform. “With instant access to business intelligence, Insight Fusion delivers game-changing advantage. The portal enables our clients to have visibility to their entire enterprise at the granular level,” says Thompson. “The suite of applications changes the way clients use actionable supply chain data, while meeting their need for mobility.”
Transportation Insight will demonstrate Insight Fusion next week at booth #662 at NDC’s International Exhibition, the largest gathering of distributors and vendors of healthcare products in the United States. As NDC’s logistics provider, Transportation Insight will provide information on the latest trends in business intelligence and logistics technology. The supply chain tools Transportation Insight provides to its clients help companies improve visibility, measure their success and identify trends to help clients maintain the critical level of customer service today’s businesses require.
